Your GP data stays on your server

Ledger Doctor runs on your own Windows server and reads GP from your own SQL Server. Your financial data, vendors, customers, employees and transactions are never sent to us.

What your Ledger Doctor install sends us

  • Always, every few minutes: a heartbeat with a random install ID, the Ledger Doctor version, whether it can reach SQL Server, and your license key so we know it's licensed.
  • Once a day: a check for new check library versions.
  • Only if you turn on status sharing: a daily summary of how many checks passed or found problems in each area, the SQL Server and GP version numbers, close checklist progress counts, and the label you choose for the install. It never includes amounts, account numbers, names or transaction details. Our server refuses any field outside that list.

When you buy

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing address and payment status from Stripe; we never see your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.

This website

myledgerdoctor.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security.

How we use it

To provide and license Ledger Doctor, to see whether installs are healthy, to answer support email, and to send billing and renewal notices. We don't sell or share it, except with the service providers that run our systems (Stripe for payments and Render for hosting) or when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep purchase records as long as tax law requires. Email support@myledgerdoctor.com to see or delete the other information we hold about you or your installs.
