Post to Microsoft Teams or Slack

Part of the Close plan.

Ledger Doctor can post the daily summary to a Teams or Slack channel too, on the same schedule as the daily email. The Ledger Doctor server needs to reach the internet for it.

Microsoft Teams

1. In Teams, open the channel, add the Workflows template Send webhook alerts to a channel, and copy the address it gives you.
2. In Ledger Doctor, as an approver, open Settings. Under Teams and Slack, paste the address next to Microsoft Teams and choose Save.

Microsoft has retired the old Office 365 connector webhooks; Ledger Doctor tells you if you paste one of those.

Slack

1. In Slack, create an incoming webhook for the channel and copy its address. It starts with https://hooks.slack.com/.
2. Paste it next to Slack and choose Save.

Test, change or remove it

Choose Send a test message to post to every channel you've set up. The address is kept on the server and isn't shown again; the box shows which service it's set up for. Paste a new address to replace it, or choose Remove.
