Plan versions

A plan version is the customer's plan frozen as it stands: every segment, account, dimension value and mapping decision. Import files come from a frozen version, so they match what was approved.

Freeze the plan

Decide everything: the Summary tab lists what's left before the plan can be frozen.
On Plan versions, add a note if you like (what this version is for), and choose Freeze plan. Only Approvers can freeze.

Each version is numbered, with who froze it and when. A later change to the plan doesn't change a frozen version: freeze a new one.

Import files

Each version has its import files: the accounts, statistical accounts (from GP unit accounts), each dimension, the opening balance and statistical entries, and the full mapping in Excel and CSV. Check column headers against the customer's own import templates.

To create the accounts and dimensions in Sage Intacct directly, use Sage Intacct setup with a frozen version.
