Buying
Until a customer project covers a company, you see only its quoting summary. The Buying page lists every accepted company you have a role for, with its summary, and is where you propose a project and pay for it.
The quoting summary
Each company's summary has its GL accounts, vendors and customers, years of GL history, the modules in use, a few account numbers and how many segments the account format has. A company with no summary yet gets one at the customer's next check-in.
Propose the companies
- Tick the customer's companies for the project (Include). The page shows the price for the companies ticked.
- Choose Propose these companies. The customer confirms them, and the data that goes to you, on the Migration page in their Ledger Doctor, or sends them back with a note you see here.
- If they send it back, change the companies and propose again.
Pay
Once the customer confirms, choose Pay. myledgerdoctor.com opens to take the card: $3,500 for a project covering up to 3 companies, and $1,000 for each company after the third. The companies unlock, and their full data arrives at the customer's next check-in, usually within 15 minutes.
When the companies confirmed fit in what's already paid for, there's nothing to pay: choose Cover the confirmed companies.
Adding a company later
Tick it and choose Update the companies; the customer confirms the new one. It's covered at once while the project has room in what's paid for, and costs one extra company after that. A project never expires, and payments aren't refunded; see the partner terms.
