Upgrade to Close
How to upgrade
- Sign in to Ledger Doctor as an approver.
- Open Reconciliations or Flux and choose Upgrade to Close.
- Stripe's billing page opens with the change and the amount due today. Confirm it.
Ledger Doctor picks up the Close plan within a few minutes. Your license key doesn't change, and nothing needs to be reinstalled.
What it costs
You're charged the difference between the plans for the rest of your current year, right away, and your renewal date stays the same. From then on each renewal is the Close price. A founding discount carries over to Close for the rest of its two years.
For example, a founding customer on Essentials pays $1,200 for the first year. Upgrading six months in costs $600: half of the $1,200 difference between Close at $2,400 and Essentials at $1,200. The second year renews at $2,400.
Upgrading from a trial
On a free trial, Upgrade to Close and Buy Close both open the Close checkout, and the trial key becomes your paid key.
Moving down to Essentials
Change plans on Stripe's billing page (the link is in your receipt), or email billing@myledgerdoctor.com. The change takes effect at your next renewal; you keep Close until then. What you did in reconciliations and flux stays in the database if you move back up later.
